Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000035_00021]

Running through a strange forest with a bloodthirsty demon hot on her heels wasn’t Taylor’s idea of a rockin’ evening. Then again, neither was soaring backward through time and space. Time travel chafed and left a rank, nasty aftertaste. So, when she finds herself floundering amidst a sea of Commandment-loving holy rollers who fling accusations of witchcraft and bedevilment like hotcakes in a diner, finding her way home jumps to the top of her to do list. Too bad she can’t remember who she is or where she came from. And if that wasn’t bad enough, Taylor has to fall for the mysterious Latin warlock living on the edge of Salem Village and who comes to her rescue, Gabriel Castillo. Battling an identity crisis and lost in a time that’s not her own, Taylor is determined to find her way back to twenty-first century Hanaford Park. But first, she and Gabriel must work together to uncover the dark scourge lurking in Salem’s shadows, and in doing so, save their own lives, and the lives of countless innocents from a lethal date with the hangman’s noose.

A Day in the Life of D.L. Kane

This week’s featured new adult author is D.L. Kane

Born and raised in the military, D.L. has traveled the world. She was raised in Europe but settled in her family’s native home in Texas at the age of 13.

D.L. completed her first novel in 2007 but didn’t have the first clue what to do with it. “I was scared. I was terrified that nobody would like it. So I just sat on it and did some research. This was at a time when Indie publishing was still a relatively new concept so I was either going to need an agent or a whole lot of money if I wanted to get published.” While the manuscript sat untouched, D.L. began work on the second installment. Major life changes forced both books to the back burner until 2011 when D.L. finally sent the first manuscript out for Beta reading. “It was the longest week of my life waiting to hear from my Beta reader. A rave review and firm push to complete the next book was all it took for me to get serious about finishing this series.”

“Broken” is a three book N.A. series that follows the lives of four friends as they navigate a world of lies and deceit to find love, honesty and forgiveness. All three books have undergone a major overhaul, including new titles. The first, “Shattered Dream” is expected to be released in September 2013.

A Day in the Life of Michelle Lynn

This week’s featured author is Michelle Lynn… Please stop by her page and say hello :)

Michelle moved around the Midwest most of her life, transferring from school to school before settling down in the outskirts of Chicago ten years ago, where she now resides with her husband and two kids.  She developed a love of reading at a young age, which helped lay the foundation for her passion to write.   With the encouragement of her family, she finally sat down and wrote one of the many stories that have been floating around in her head. When she isn’t reading or writing, she can be found playing with her kids, talking to her mom on the phone, or hanging out with her family and friends.  But after chasing around two preschools all day, she always cherishes her relaxation time after putting the kids to bed.
